5th Intimate Theatre Festival (FeTI)
A LOOK AT THE BINATIONAL THEATRE SCENE
Augst - September 2026
Teatro Las Tablas • Tijuana • Baja California • México
The Intimate Theatre Festival (FeTI) is a platform for presenting, sharing, and reflecting on contemporary performing arts. Organized by Tijuana Hace Teatro and hosted at Teatro Las Tablas, the festival has supported independent artistic work since 2018 through performances created for intimate settings, where artists and audiences share a close theatrical experience. FeTI recognizes these productions, together with independent cultural spaces, as essential environments for artistic creation, dialogue, and community building.
For its fifth edition, FeTI will focus on the artistic and cultural connections between Baja California and California. Through full productions, staged readings of new plays, workshops, and artist talks, the festival seeks to strengthen exchange among artists from both sides of the border, highlight creative work developed in border communities, and reaffirm the role of independent venues as spaces for artistic encounter, collaboration, and cultural development.
